Lake Oconee Academy students tour Dual Vision

More than 100 students from Lake Oconee Academy’s photo and art courses visited Barrel 118 in Eatonton to view the works of artists from The Artisan Gallery and photographers from the Lake Country Photography Club (LCPC) for their annual show “Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes.”

This event is a joint venture; both groups welcome new members and visitors.

Artists chose up to two picks from a large selection of photographic prints, which covered all types of photography, including pets, zoo animals, gardens, landscapes, birds, and more. All mediums of artwork were allowed, as artists did their own interpretation of their chosen photograph, thus creating a Dual Vision.

Now, both artwork and the artist-selected inspiration photographs are on display at The Artisans Art Gallery on Marion Street in Eatonton. The gallery is open to the public and sells all artwork.

Dual Vision continues to grow each year, and the 2024 Dual Vision was the first time the LOA students had seen and discussed art with participating photographers and artists.
