FOOTBALL: War Eagles run all over Washington County

Putnam County seniors Jalon Kilgore and Tamarion Peters rushed for over 300 yards and three TDs in a 26-13 win over Washington County during a Thursday night tilt. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, but a referee shortage in the GHSA moved it up a day.

FOOTBALL: War Eagles looking for ‘consistency’

Last year, Putnam County High School (PCHS) football enjoyed one of the best seasons in its long-and-storied history. In Shaun Pope’s fourth season at the helm, the War Eagles went 12-1 overall, tying a program record for most wins in a single season.
