LOA boys, girls earn All-Region honors

Even though neither of Lake Oconee Academy’s basketball teams made the postseason, both had several players earn All-Region honors.In total, six LOA athletes received postseason awards.For the Titans, two players made the All-Region team.

Lady Titans’ season comes to an end

The Lake Oconee Academy girls basketball team hasn’t had it easy lately, but got an important win on Saturday, Jan. 17, over crosstown rival Greene County to snap a five-game losing streak.The Lady Titans secured a 59-52 overtime victory over the Lady Tigers.

LOA senior scores 1,000th career point

Lake Oconee Academy Lady Titans’ shooting guard Ansleigh Padgett had a big night on Tuesday in a home non-region matchup against Bethlehem Christian Academy.The senior scored her 1,000th career point when she successfully sank a 3-pointer in the third quarter.

New coach, new challenges for Lady Titans
