Four MCHS football players sign to play at next level

Morgan County football had four seniors sign letters of intent on National Signing Day to play at the next level.

Morgan County football racks up All-Region honors

After a successful 2023 season, the Morgan County football team earned many postseason honors. The Bulldogs went 10-2 with a second-round playoff appearance and won the Region 4-AAA championship, so it’s safe to say they earned all of these recognitions after their best season in 10 years.

Savannah Christian tops ‘Dogs in second round

Savannah Christian was too much for Morgan County last Friday night, defeating the Bulldogs, 33-10. The two teams traded blows throughout the opening two quarters, with the Raiders leading 17-10 at the half.

Morgan County doesn’t plan to overlook Monroe in first round

Dorsey reaches 1,000-yard mark as Bulldogs defeat Cross Creek

It’s unique for a high school running back to surpass the 1,000-yard rushing mark in a season, but Morgan County has had it happen in back-to-back seasons. Last year it was Jacere Cooper, and this past Friday night, Jay Dorsey followed in his footsteps for the Bulldogs.

Morgan County, Harlem to play for region title Friday
