Defense, depth helps Dogs peak at right time

Dogs succeeding despite not being full strength

Entering week eight of the season, the Morgan County basketball team still hasn’t played a game with its full roster.The Dogs have missed players for several different reasons, but they’ve had success in the first half of the year.

Dogs looking to take next step in 2025-26

The Morgan County boys basketball team had one of its better seasons in recent memory last year.The Dogs finished their 2024-25 campaign with a 22-7 overall record, including a 10-0 mark in region play.

Locus uses summer to improve

Morgan County basketball player Zeki Locus is set for a big senior season this winter.Locus, a 6-foot, 175-pound point guard, was one of the team’s top contributors in 2024-25.Last year, Locus was named Co-Region 2-2A Player of the Year for his performance on the court. He averaged 13.4 points, 9.
