Titans sweep Aquinas, now set to face Washington-Wilkes for top spot in region

Lake Oconee Academy defeated Aquinas 14-6 and 6-4 last week in the first two games of the series. The Titans were beating the Fightin’ Irish 6-5 during game three, although it was called due to darkness. The contest is set to be finished in a makeup game sometime next month.

Titans begin region play, continue to roll

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball team is currently 10-2 overall and 3-1 in Region 8 Class A Division II competition entering Thursday’s doubleheader against Aquinas in Augusta.

Titans take to the diamond for opening day

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball program is in its seventh season and traveled to the Academy for Classical Education (ACE) for its season opener this past Monday.

BASEBALL: Lake Oconee Academy hosts youth baseball camp

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball program held a youth camp earlier last week to try and bring some enthusiasm back to the sport. The camp saw about 25 to 30 kids between third and eighth grade in attendance working on multiple drills at the plate and on the field.
