MAGallery presents ‘Home Is...’ exhibition

Artists and guests filled the Madison Art Gallery on June 8 for the opening of an exhibition named “Home Is…”. Twenty-seven artists from Atlanta, Athens, Madison, and other Middle Georgia cities, all MAG members, presented visions of home in the form of paintings, clay sculptures, felted work, and stained glass.

The Madison Artists Guild and MAGallery are proud to host abstract artist Bev Jones for her upcoming one-woman exhibition titled A Pastel Palette. Jones is a self-taught artist whose work has evolved from hand-painted greeting cards to large-scale abstract paintings, which she is best known for today.

Watercolor exhibit opens at MAGallery

The Madison Artists Guild is proud to welcome well-known watercolorist and teacher Leigh Ellis to Madison for her one-woman show titled A Naturalist’s View in Watercolors. Please join Guild members and MAGallery artists on June 10 from 6-8 p.m. for a special evening that includes refreshments, conversation, and a watercolor demonstration by Ms. Ellis at 6:30 p.m. A Naturalist’s View in Watercolors will remain at the gallery through July 9, and all works are for sale.
