Georgia backup QBs battle it out at G-Day

ATHENS – Georgia’s offense put on a strong showing during its annual G-Day spring scrimmage April 14, with the quarterback room drawing much of the attention.The Bulldogs head into next season with Gunner Stockton entrenched as the starter, but the competition behind him remains unsettled.

Young defenders shine for Dawgs in spring game

ATHENS - Georgia football held its annual G-Day spring game on April 18, with several new and returning players making an impression on head coach Kirby Smart.In his post-game press conference, Smart said he was impressed with the overall performance.

G-Day spring scrimmage set for Saturday

NEW ORLEANS – The Allstate Sugar Bowl wasn’t sweet to Georgia for a second consecutive year, as the No. 3 Bulldogs lost to No. 6 Ole Miss 39-34 in the CFP quarterfinal matchup Jan. 1 at the Caesars Superdome.

Dawgs roll Tide in Atlanta

Georgia dominated Alabama from start to finish on Dec. 6 in the SEC Championship game. The No. 3 Bulldogs (12-1) avenged an earlier regular-season loss to No. 9 Alabama (10-3) with a 28-7 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this past Saturday to secure their second consecutive conference title.

Dawgs return to New Orleans for Sugar Bowl

With their SEC Championship win last Saturday over the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Georgia Bulldogs claimed their spot as the No. 3 seed in the 2025 College Football Playoffs.The back-to-back conference champions will return to New Orleans for the New Year’s Day Allstate Sugar Bowl.
