Smith Communications Inc. awarded for newspapers, Lakelife

The Smith Communications family of newspapers and magazines was presented with several awards at the 2023 Georgia Press Association convention on June 9 at Jekyll Island Club.

Newspapers, Lakelife earn awards from Georgia Press

Lake Oconee News was awarded for its news coverage in the Better Newspaper Contest, which is coordinated by the Georgia Press Association. Phillip B. Hubbard won a first-place award for Sports Feature Story while Lance McCurley took second place in the same category.
