For Brody and Caroline Jenkins, the past few months have marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another — one that will send Morgan County’s twin standouts on separate paths to the highest level of collegiate athletics.

Morgan County diver Caroline Jenkins has already qualified for the state meet early in the season. A few weeks ago, the sophomore Lady ‘Dogs diver competed at the 10th annual Holiday Splash meet, hosted by Forsyth Central High School at the Cumminng Aquatic Center in Forsyth County.

Morgan County added a new sport this school year and it already has experienced considerable success. The Bulldogs’ new diving team features only two divers in freshman Caroline Jenkins and sophomore Sidney Thurmond; however, both qualified for the state diving championships on Jan.
