Morgan County Charter Schools officially dedicated the Rabern-Jackson Memorial Garden on July 30 with a public ceremony after more than a year of planning.The Thursday morning ceremony took place in the newly dedicated space, adjacent to the Morgan County Middle School front entrance.

A pair of memorial benches were unveiled at Tracy Brown Field to honor Avett Jackson and Bennett Rabern, two Morgan County Middle School students who tragically lost their lives in an ATV accident earlier this year.

One Morgan: Community rallies after tragic accident

The Morgan community has shown what it means to be “One Morgan,” jumping into action to help one another following the tragic ATV accident last Monday that killed 12-year-olds Bennett Rabern and Avett Jackson but also injured 12-year-old Bryson Hammond.
