Lady Dogs return to pitch in ‘26 after Final Four finish

Coming off the most successful season in program history, the Morgan County girls soccer team is entering a new chapter in 2026.Last spring, the Lady Dogs made a memorable run to the Final Four, marking the deepest postseason finish the program has ever achieved.

Lady Dogs make history, reach Final Four

The Morgan County girls soccer team made history on Monday, May 5, with their 2-1 win over Columbus.The win advanced them to their first playoff semifinal appearance in the program’s history.Morgan County head coach Anne Stamps was proud of her girls’ fight against a solid Lady Blue Devil squad.

Veterans lead Lady Dogs on the pitch

Lady Dogs' soccer rack up postseason honors

The Morgan County girls’ soccer team had nine players garner All-Region 4-AAA honors this year.Rylee Bernard, Campbell Stamps, McKinsey Williams, and Kate Reynolds earned First Team honors. Jaden Young, Chloe Cook, Katherine Tybor, Carly Hagler, and Mia McClain were named to the Second Team.

‘Playing with Love’: Lady Dogs defeat Long County, Jackson to advance to Elite Eight

The Morgan County girls soccer team is headed back to the Elite Eight for a second consecutive year. The No. 1 seed Lady Bulldogs (16-1-1) knocked off No. 4 seed Long County 5-0 last week before defeating No. 3 seed Jackson 7-1 Monday to advance to the next round of the Class AAA state playoffs.

Lady Dogs split games to end regular season

Morgan County girls soccer split two games with non-region opponents last week to end its 2023 season. The Lady ‘Dogs faced two Class AAAAA teams in Clarke Central and Ola at Bill Corry Stadium. Morgan County dominated the Lady Gladiators 3-0 on Tuesday to remain undefeated.
