Bulldogs enter bye week banged up but making no excuses

Top-ranked Georgia (7-0, 4-0 SEC) enters its bye week at a great time in the season, with hopes of improving as a team and getting some injured players back before facing rival Florida on Oct. 27.

Bulldogs overcome early errors against Hephzibah

Morgan County prevailed after a few early mistakes to defeat Hephzibah 35-6 on Friday night. The Bulldogs (7-1, 3-0 Region 4-AAA) were hoping to cruise into halftime with a 14-0 lead, but a few costly mistakes by the defense gave the Rebels (5-3, 1-3) some life with a late score.

Titans cruise to victory over Cavaliers

The Lake Oconee Academy football team defeated Augusta Prep Day 42-18 at home last Friday for the Titans’ third consecutive win. With the victory, head coach Patrick Stewart’s team now has the most wins in a single season since the program started three years ago.

Tigers quiet Screaming Devils on the road
