Nothing is more poetic – and satisfying – than ending a rival’s season to advance in the postseason, and that’s exactly what Georgia baseball did Sunday night in the Athens Regional final against Georgia Tech.
The Bulldogs defeated the Yellow Jackets 8-6 in extra innings at Foley Field in Athens to reach their first Super Regional in over a decade, which is exciting for new head coach Wes Johnson.
