Dear Editor,
My resolution for this year is to do my part in seeing that the sicknesses that are eating at our country do not grow in our community. Guess what they are?
How do you control people? Ignorance and laziness. Make them totally dependent on you. Make them dependent on you to ensure their health services.
Make them thinkaway that they have a right to these benefits from the government. The Democrats achieved that power through the Affordable Care Act, which didn’t do what Obama said it would do, but it has helped subsidize costs to date. That subsidized money came to you through the $38+ trillion debt we have. And the Democrats allowed the government to shut down in order to keep on doing it. And for not feeding the bloated food support programs, which included the illegal aliens (“undocumented immigrants” for the sensitive) that Biden instigated. It hurts when the government isn’t there to support you. But wait a minute. That is my taxes you want me to help them with.
We are having indigestion because we have millions who entered our country illegally. We were originally a country of immigrants who came through the front door, and they were willing to live under our laws and speak our language. They swore to live under and support our Constitution, which was founded on a belief in God and based on moral laws stemming from the 10 commandments and the Golden Rule. Not so anymore. We have been flooded with illegal aliens, with too many out to do us harm. They have!
There are many who don’t want us to get back. They can only criticize any effort to do so, and too often they rely on misinformation and ignore the lack of facts.
For example, who paid Renee Good, who appears to not believe in the Biblical definition of marriage, to go out and harass the legal representatives of the government trying to do their job? That was not a Constitutionally protected “peaceful assembly”. Do any of us in this community know if she was paid? I don’t know all the facts either, but I do know videos can be misleading. ICE is doing the job the Democrats didn’t: Secure our borders! It hurts people. You want to help them? Take them to their country and help them prosper there. What do you do if they won’t go home on their own and resist being sent there? Say: ”Please, pretty please?” Didn’t work well.
Illegal drugs are killing our loved ones. You read in the paper each week about another drug dealer caught on I-20. Boatloads of drugs seized by the Coast Guard. Say: “Pretty please, stop.” They are responsible for the murder of hundreds or even thousands of our loved ones. Drug dealing is just another method of murder. And someone objects to how they are stopped? Objecting to paying the cost of a trial and supporting them for the rest of their life would seem more rational. The war on drug dealers is necessary if we are ever to have peace. If I am wrong, please suggest a better way.
I know another thing to be a fact: No one is perfect.
So you can depend on the news media to publish every Trump or ICE imperfection they can find.
It’s dramatic news! Have they ever reported ICE arresting and deporting a criminal illegal immigrant?
I pray most of us have enough sense to recognize this.
I know some don’t. They drank the Cool Aid.
