I am responding to an editorial by Peggy Perkins in a recent issue of your newspaper. Her support for Joe Biden is based upon what he says and not what he does. Didn’t Joe effectively shut down the U.S. energy industry by executive order on the first day of his presidency?
Thousands of workers lost their jobs and the U.S. forfeited our energy independence established under Donald Trump’s leadership. Didn’t Joe abandon American troops and billions of weapons when leaving Afghanistan? Joe continues to issue new regulations controlling life in America as part of his overzealous climate control platform.
Will we be happier without our gas stoves? Without our gas lawnmowers? Without our gasoline-powered cars? And are we happier under Joe Biden’s economic policies and increased costs of everything? Joe and Hunter Biden have carried out one of the biggest scams in history with their business dealings in China.
Joe Biden has politicized and mobilized the FBI and the Justice Department to prosecute and otherwise harass American citizens. Biden is a follower of Barack Obama. Isn’t he the one who said, “We need to bring America down a notch or two?”
No, Joe Biden has proven he was not the answer in 2020 and he is not the answer for 2024. I’m a MAGA man all the way. Trump’s not Mr. Congeniality but has proven policies that work for America.
