Dear Editor,
\To many out there who are concerned about the activities and experience of Kamala Harris over the past four years, fear not. Vice presidents are clearly “backstage” and out of the limelight, but ours has been working hard. Harris has recently led the Fight for Reproductive Freedom tour, convening in more than 16 states and multiple college campuses.
These events highlight the harm to women caused by recent abortion bans.
She launched the Justice Coming Home Initiative to help the more than half a million veterans who suffer from mental health issues.
She has hosted Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) events for girls and worked on the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Bill, Voting Rights bills, gun safety legislation, and ACA health care initiatives. Harris led a delegation to Guatemala and Mexico to address the root causes of migration, forming the Central America Forward Initiative with public/private partnerships. She has traveled to a half dozen other countries as a diplomatic representative. This is just a sampling of her workload.
On election day, just remember this: A vote for Kamala Harris isn’t about just her. It’s about having a competent, candid, and dedicated executive work group, restoring women’s rights, helping our middle class, maintaining a separation of church and state, protecting free speech and library books, saving our environment, having the freedom to love without government interference, and not having Project 2025 shoved down our throats.
We think the choice is clear and that she is up to the job.
