Dear Editor,
The news of the Fulton County elections office being invaded by the FBI and 2020 ballots being seized should be an alarm for all of us. We all know Georgia is a swing state, and has been (and will be) targeted by this administration. This is not about 2020. This is about 2026.
Six years after Georgia voters made their choice, the regime is trying to keep us ensnared in an everlasting squabble about the last election so they can justify rewriting the rules for the next one.
When you can’t win an election fair and square, you try to control who runs it. When you can’t persuade voters, you try to control the process. When you can’t accept the truth, you try to bury it under noise. Ordinary people have real issues to deal with in our state. Insurance premiums and other costs are skyrocketing. Hospitals are closing. Wages are stagnant. Communities are on edge. When leaders offer no solutions, they seek to keep people afraid and distracted.
The data they are collecting contains sensitive personal information, and it belongs to Fulton County, Georgia. All of us need to pay attention and make our outrage known to state and county election officials and representatives, as well as to potential 2026 candidates.
