Cutting government waste is a reasonable goal, and in principle, I support DOGE’s mission. However, its reckless, indiscriminate approach to downsizing the federal workforce raises serious concerns. Some may argue that sweeping cuts are necessary — rip the Band-Aid off and move on — but let’s consider the consequences.
