Rutledge’s free concert series, “Music in the Park,” has returned for the summer season.
On June 20, award-winning bluegrass artists Darrin and Brooke Aldridge performed at Rutledge Square as part of the recurring event. The couple also performs in gospel and Americana genres and has played over 50 times at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
“Music in the Park” will continue from 7 to 9 p.m. every Friday until Aug. 29, featuring multiple artists of different genres. Rutledge will host the Blue Velvet Atlanta music group on June 27 for its next downtown concert.
