Letter to the Editor: Fun at Songwriter’s Night

Dear editor,

My husband and I purchased tickets to attend Briarpatch Farm’s Songwriter’s Night on Saturday.

It was an unforgettable evening that benefited Atlas Ministries. From the moment we drove up to the event and were greeted at three different stops with children welcoming us with salutations, fist bumps, and high fives, there was lots of infectious energy even before we got out of our vehicle!

Once the event started, we enjoyed wonderful songs accompanied by heartfelt stories about the inspiration behind them. I am incredibly grateful to the talented songwriters who traveled to our community to participate (Jeffrey Steele, Chuck Cannon, and Casey Beathard).

Their stories and beautiful songs were a ray of sunshine that truly warmed our souls.

I also learned about Atlas Ministries and their passionate mission to educate and develop children into Christ-centered, competent, and confident adults who will become transformative leaders in their communities. Atlas Ministries is an organization that truly deserves our unwavering love and support.

Our community is blessed to have Briarpatch Farm and the Raineys, who consistently host events like Songwriter’s Night. Their efforts not only entertain us but also give back to the community.

I eagerly look forward to the next Songwriter’s Night or another event and hope to see many of you there to be part of this impactful experience!

Sincere thanks, Jennifer Ray, Putnam County
