Saturday was a spectacular day to be in downtown Greensboro as the community came together to celebrate the 25th annual Southland Jubilee.
The milestone event brought the heart of Greensboro to life with unforgettable performances, amazing local talent, and festive fun for all ages.
The streets were filled with energy as crowds enjoyed dazzling shows from Mark the Magic Man, toe-tapping tunes from Quig and the Boys, and dynamic dance routines by Southern Spice Dance Academy, The Arts Barn, and the LOA Titan Dancers. Their performances lit up the stage and captured the spirit of Jubilee in every beat and move.
The car show was at full capacity, featuring an impressive lineup of classic and custom vehicles that drew car enthusiasts from near and far. Festivalgoers indulged in delicious food, explored a wide array of arts and crafts vendors, and enjoyed nonstop excitement in the Kids Zone, making it a perfect day for families.
“We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day or a better way to celebrate 25 years of Southland Jubilee,” Greensboro Main Street Event Coordinator Brittney Burden said. “It was a true joy to see our community come together and enjoy the music, food, and fun. This event wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our incredible city staff and dedicated volunteers. We’re so grateful for every one of them. We’re already looking forward to the next 25 years of this special tradition.”
The Southland Jubilee continues to be a cornerstone celebration in Greensboro, bringing together tradition, talent, and community pride.
Organizers thanked those who helped make this year’s event such a success. Greensboro’s next event, Moonlight on Main, will take place on June 20 at 7 p.m.
