Now imagine if Greene County or Putnam County leaders had successfully courted this developer to our area. Unlike traditional industrial or residential developments, data centers have minimal population impact, requiring only a tiny staff of dozens rather than hundreds or thousands. Concerns about traffic congestion or housing shortages are virtually nonexistent.
What could $1.6 billion in annual tax revenue mean for our community? It could revolutionize education, modernize infrastructure, create affordable housing, and open countless doors for long-term growth.
