Dear Editor,
Everyone must recognize the outcomes of critical issues if we elect Kamala Harris. Here is what we would get…
• Continued open Southern border, resulting in millions of additional illegal immigrants entering the United States each year.
• Increased pressure for amnesty for illegals and eligibility to vote.
• Increased crime as a result of unvetted immigration and “soft-on-crime” politics.
• Increased government spending to support “free this and free that” for a larger population of beneficiaries.
• More abortions, meaning fewer babies.
• Legalizing sanctuary cities and their inherent lawlessness.
• Ballooning of the national debt.
• Expansion of the Supreme Court to allow the appointment of left-leaning justices.
• Approval of Washington D.C. as a state so Democrats can add two more senators.
• Increased weaponization of the FBI and the Department of Justice against individuals and organizations with opposing views.
• An energy crisis (brownouts and increased prices) as fossil fuels are restricted and “clean energy” fails to meet our growing needs for electricity.
• A military weakened by failed DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies.
• Increased focus on teaching CRT (Critical Race Theory) in our schools.
• Increased taxes for everyone who earns a living, more free stuff for those who do not.
• Backing away from Israel at the risk of that country’s independence.
• Continuation of the war in Ukraine until Russia absorbs that country, which then moves on to Poland.
• Marxism, socialism, and communism whittle away at democracy in America.
Individually, these outcomes would be destructive, but collectively, they represent an existential threat to America as we know it. The total of these results is an extension of Obama’s wish to “bring America down a notch or two” and our country will never be the same.
Let’s not go there.
