Dear Editor,
In his (letter to the editor) in last week’s Lake Oconee News, Mr. Pandina presents a one-sided assessment of the Biden Administration. We are still feeling the aftermath of Biden’s socialistic giveaway programs in the form of record-setting inflation. Has Mr. Pandina checked his grocery bills lately? Or filled his gas tank?
There are pockets of our population that are surely indebted to Joe Biden. Hundreds of thousands of college students have their tuition loans forgiven at taxpayers’ expense, although the Supreme Court declared Biden’s Executive Order(s) illegal.
Over 3 million undocumented immigrants are thankful for being in the United States because Biden violated his constitutional responsibility to protect the southern border. U.S. taxpayers everywhere are paying billions (of dollars) to support them.
I have other concerns about Biden’s effectiveness as president. For example, Biden sent a heavily armed FBI squad to check Melania Trump’s bedroom for Top-Secret documents.
If he can do that to a former president of the United States, couldn’t he do that to us? Under Biden’s watch as commander in chief, the U.S. military left billions (of dollars worth) of weapons for the Taliban when he mishandled our withdrawal from Afghanistan. How is Joe doing in keeping Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea in check?
In deciding our vote for president in November, can we seriously consider returning a senile old man to office for four more years when he can’t string two sentences together that make sense?
