Last week, the Lake Oconee News reported that Tyson Cherod Waller, 18, of Eatonton, had been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting incident that occurred on in Greensboro March 3.
This was incorrect. Waller has not been arrested.
Our information came from a press release issued by the Greensboro Police Department on the afternoon of March 19. The GPD attempted to correct the mistake the next day, but our newspapers had already gone to press by that time. The Lake Oconee News regrets the error.
