    Morgan County rising senior Antavious Elder announced his commitment to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) via social media in the early evening of July 10. Elder, one of the Bulldogs’ defensive captains last season, is a 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive lineman who also plays tight end on offense.
