    Morgan County softball opened up its 2022 season last Friday by hosting a pair of home games.

    The Lady Dogs opened up the year on a positive note by defeating Newton County 11-3 by run-rule in five innings. However, they dropped a 15-2 decision to Greenbrier in the nightcap, which put them at 1-1 overall entering this week two of the season.
