The Morgan County High School soccer program had a combined 22 athletes from both its boys and girls soccer teams recently earn All-Region honors.
For the Lady Bulldogs, Rylee Bernard, McKinsey Williams, Lofton Cathey, Camp Stamps, Sidda Outlaw, Avery Mize and Daphne Lopez all received All-Region 4-AAA First-Team honors.
Meanwhile, Grace McClendon, Kate Reynolds, Jayden Young, Carley Hagler and Quinn Butler all earned All-Region 4-AAA Second-Team honors.
Kelsea Craft and Hayley Smith earned the honorable mention accolade.
Bulldogs’ senior Cooper Allen earned the Region 4-AAA Player of the Award.
Also, Allen, Josue Lopez, Ross Ellenberg, Christian Keener and Jacob Martin were named to the Region 4-AAA First-Team.
Nathan Camacho, Trevin Peters, Gianluca Corrias, Alex Ortiz and Caleb Keener all qualified for the Region 4-AAA Second-Team.
Finally, Rogers Clark, Carson Keener, Kentucky Outlaw and Julian Tenorio all garnered honorable mention.
Both soccer teams advanced past the first round of the GHSA Class AAA state playoffs.
The Lady Bullogs’ season ended in the Elite 8 after a loss to Cherokee Bluff. On the other hand, the Bulldogs lost to Coahulla Creek in the Sweet 16.
Both squads return a majority of their rosters next season
