Mr. Ace Jones has lost credibility in his relentless criticism of Donald Trump; he only cites the negatives.
In his letter to this newspaper last week, Mr. Jones jumped on the flawed Democratic bandwagon that there is an affordability crisis, that somehow Donald Trump has caused it, and that Donald Trump is doing nothing about it. Consider the following.
Crime escalates the cost of living for individuals, businesses, and the Government. Crime has accelerated dramatically under four years of Democratic governance, particularly in Democratic states and cities. Donald Trump has taken aggressive action to reduce crime, at least when not resisted by Democratic politicians.
High interest rates raise the cost of everything.
Interest rates have been down since Trump took office.
Inflation is down since Trump took office.
The costs of heating our houses and fueling our cars are down under Trump's energy policies.
The cost of illegal immigration, caused by the Democrats’ open border policies, is undeniable, as millions of people who should not be here are housed and fed at the expense of those of us who are working for a living.
Trump has shut it down.
Many costs of running our businesses are being reduced as Trump eliminates unneeded regulations.
Trump is reducing income taxes and eliminating the Federal tax on tips and on Social Security.
The cost of prescription drugs is coming down due to the Trump administration's negotiations.
There are many additional examples in which our leader has, in fact, been fearless in attacking everything that is wrong with America.
That is despite resistance by Democrats at every decision point.
