Upscale Resale Raises a Record $35,400

This year’s Upscale Resale raised an extraordinary $35,400, the highest total in the event’s history.

Hosted by the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and led by event founder Connie Karpinsky, Upscale Resale remains a joyful tradition rooted in community generosity and support.

As in previous years, 100% of proceeds were divided equally among three local food pantries, providing each organization with $11,800. The beneficiaries included the Greene County Food Pantry, the Putnam County Food Pantry, and the Bread of Life Food Pantry, ensuring that families across both Greene and Putnam Counties will benefit directly from the event’s success.

Since its inception in 2018, Upscale Resale has transformed donated handbags, jewelry, clothing, and accessories into meaningful support for neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The event’s continued growth reflects the unwavering kindness of donors, volunteers, shoppers, and the broader community.

The Greene County Food Pantry is deeply grateful to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, the event organizers, and every volunteer and supporter who helped make this record-setting year possible. Their generosity strengthens the Greene County Food Pantry’s ability to provide nutritious food to children, seniors, and families who rely on the pantry each month.
