Sept. 9th, 10th, and 11th — three days, till my time comes, that will forever be in my heart. On the 9th, my wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, during which I woke up to find my wife handing me a card. I knew instantly what it represented. I, with a bottomless pit in my stomach, asked. “Is this the 9th?”.
