Morgan County’s taxing entities all set millage rates over the past week.
The Morgan County Board of Commissioners set the 2025 rate Aug. 5 at 9.466, which represents the rollback rate, down from last year’s rate of 9.686.
According to Morgan County Finance Director Lori Sayer, all property values were frozen at the 2024 assessment value after the passage of HB 581, and there were no inflationary adjustments from the state in 2025.
