On Saturday, a large, patriotic Donald Trump bus arrived at Bank South at Lake Oconee for a flag-waving event on Highway 44 in Greene and Putnam counties.
A large crowd of supporters waved flags and banners in front of passing motorists.
“The Saturday flag waving was a great event for the Greene County Republican Party to work with the Putnam County Republican Party and the Trump bus to let voters know that we have an opportunity _to make a positive change for the future,” Greene Country GOP Chairman Mark Schulz said. “The issues and policies are important as we vote on Nov. 5. I believe that we win national elections by winning state elections, and we win state elections by winning county elections.
“We have some important issues in Greene County, and we need everyone to vote to make a difference with policies that matter to all. We need to think about and vote for Greene County first.”
