Retiring Sheriff Markley recognized at U.S. Capitol

    Morgan County Sheriff Robert Markley was recognized by the U.S. Capitol this week as he prepares to turn in his badge.

    U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, whose district includes Morgan County, visited the sheriff’s office Monday and presented Markley with a flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of his 24 years of service to the community.
