The annual Bostick Cotton Gin Festival is scheduled for Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and once again some new wrinkles have been introduced for parking and road closures.
One of the biggest changes will be a separate exit for leaving the parking lot back onto Echols Road. Anyone leaving the parking lot will need to head north on to Highway 83 and then then takes High Shoals Road to Paxon Dairy Road and Price Mill Road south in order to return to Hwy 83 southbound.
All road ins Bostwick inside of the perimeter formed by Nolan Store Road, Peppers Road, Hardeman Mill Road, High Shoals Road, Paxson Dairy Road and Price Mill Road will be closed.
With the exception of parade participants, who must enter at the Fairplay Road/Nolan Store Road roadblock, no vehicles will be allowed to enter the closed area.
