A Morgan County woman has been arrested on multiple charges related to the death of her husband during an altercation that occurred on May 31 at 1741 Baldwin Dairy Rd., according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Karen Lindsay, 58, has been charged with felony aggravated assault against a person 65 years of age or older, elder abuse, and concealing the death of another.
Additional charges may be considered pending the results of an autopsy, according to a statement released by the MCSO.
“The case remains an active investigation,” the release said. “The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is working in close coordination with the Morgan County Coroner’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding this incident.”
The MCSO said further details will be released as they become available.
