Big River, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, adapted from the novel by Mark Twain and presented by The Lake Country Players, opens Thursday, July 25, and continues through Sunday, July 28, at Festival Hall.
This timeless classic by Mark Twain will take you down the mighty Mississippi, as Huck Finn helps his friend Jim escape from slavery to freedom. With hilarious, suspenseful, and heartwarming adventures along the way, all your favorite characters will come back to life. The show premiered on Broadway on April 25, 1985, and continued for over 1,000 performances, winning seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
