Hagler promoted to Battalion Chief at MCFR

Morgan County Fire Rescue recently announced that Allen Hagler has been promoted to battalion chief of Shift B, effective July 29.

Hagler has worked and prepared for this role by continuing with fire department officer training and taking on the Acting Officer in Charge in the absence of higher-ranking officers.

Allen started with the department as a volunteer with Station 2 (Central) in August 2010. He became a career firefighter at Station 16 (Headquarters) in August 2015 and was appointed to the Senior Firefighter position in January 2021.

The department is pleased and proud to have him serving in this role. He is a dedicated father to his son, a firefighter/EMT, and a resident of Morgan County who diligently serves the visitors and residents of the county.
