The last addition to the 175-year-old Greene County Courthouse was finished in 1998. It included everything from the glass divider (midway in photo) and everything to the right of it.
A vacant room on the third floor of the courthouse is one of five spaces that have been available and unused since 2019.
The proposed Judicial Center would be built using the frame of the county arena at the county Public Service Campus on C. Weldon Smith Drive. A new arena would be built on land next to the current recreation department facility on Union Point Road.
