Tony Arness Jacobs, 56, of Madison, was arrested on June 6 and charged with driving while their license was suspended.
Miriam Cruz Salas, 32, of Madison, was arrested on June 8 and charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to a Mergendollar Road address on June 8 regarding a subject refusing to leave a report. The subject was not at the scene when the deputy arrived. He will be served a trespass notice.
Jesus Tornez Jimenez, 46, of Atlanta, was arrested on June 8 on a warrant for fraud issued by Douglas County.
Warrants have been obtained for the arrest of Ryan Watkins, 26, of Madison, on charges of battery and obstruction of someone making an emergency call.
MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT
A Madison police officer responded to Bo’s Wrecker Service on Confederate Road on May 31 regarding a credit card fraud complaint. The complainant said a Kia Optima was towed from milepost 118 on I-20 to Austin Circle in Decatur for a Richard Smith at a cost of $425, but the card belonged to someone else.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to Starbucks on June 1 regarding a suspicious person brandishing a firearm. According to the report, three young Hispanic males came into the parking lot in a red Toyota, and the passenger in the backseat brandished a firearm.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to a Maple Street address on May 28 to investigate a theft complaint. The complainant said someone stole his Predator generator from the bed of his truck.
A Madison police officer was dispatched to Taco Bell on May 21 regarding a damage to property report. The complainant said stones thrown by a zero-turn mower struck his truck, causing paint damage.
Alexander Langston Jackson, 30, of Atlanta was arrested May 31 and charged with driving while license suspended, possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce) and DUI (refusal).
Gabrial Wayne Armor, 22, of Buckhead, was arrested on June 4 and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce) and an open container.
A warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Nakita Hunt, 26, of Greensboro on the charge of aggravated stalking following an incident that occurred on June 2.

On June 3, deputies arrested Christian James Campbell, 3230 Hensley Road, Union Point, for obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers.
On June 6, deputies arrested Karen Mims Carroll, 4125 Chastain Drive, Grovetown, for possession of a controlled substance.
On June 4, deputies arrested Jorge Lopez, 1371 East Broad Street, Greensboro, for failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.
On June 6, deputies arrested Devonte Deon Pope, 1630 Airport Road, Greensboro, for a probation violation.
On June 5, deputies arrested Juan Francisco Valencia-Mondragon, 1020 Greensboro Rd., Crawfordville, for no license.
On June 6, deputies arrested Brad Weeks, 2031-½ Fenwick Street, Augusta, for possession of a controlled substance.
GREENSBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
On Sunday, June 2, while patrolling the area of West Broad Street, officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.
Officers initiated a traffic stop, and the driver was identified as Quaderius Kilpatrick, 25, of Union Point. After further investigation, Kilpatrick’s vehicle was towed per the department’s policy; Kilpatrick was issued citations for an expired tag and no insurance.
On Monday, June 3, officers responded to the area of Wilson Street in reference to an alarm activation. All windows and doors were secured.
On Monday, June 3, officers responded to the area of Booker Road in reference to a criminal trespassing complaint. The complainant stated that a previously evicted tenant was still walking on their property. Officers advised the complainant that they would contact the former tenant to advise him of the criminal trespassing warning. The tenant was not located at the time of the report.
On Tuesday, June 4, officers met with a complainant regarding a citizen’s complaint. The complainant stated that he gave an individual $10,000 to complete repairs on a rental property in November and December 2023. The individual has not completed the repairs. The complainant was advised that the matter must be handled in magistrate court.
On Tuesday, June 4, officers responded to the area of North West Street in reference to a verbal dispute. The complainant stated that she was visiting a friend when her friend’s boyfriend came home, started an argument, and told her to leave the premises. The complainant stated that she was leaving and just wanted the incident documented. There was no further action.
On Tuesday, June 4, officers responded to the area of Fox Chase Circle in reference to a suspicious person. The individual could not be located at the time of the report. The complainant was advised that extra patrols would be conducted in the area.
On Wednesday, June 5, officers responded to the area of Planning Mill Road in reference to a possible physical domestic dispute. Both parties agreed to separate for the rest of the day. There was no further incident.
On Wednesday, June 5, officers responded to the area of Stephens Street in reference to an unruly juvenile. Officers spoke with the mother and the juvenile. The juvenile was advised to do what his mother said and return to bed. There was no further incident. On Friday, June 7, officers responded to the area of South Main Street in reference to criminal damage to property complaint. The homeowner showed officers bullet holes in the rear of the residence. The incident was turned over to investigators.
On Friday, June 7, officers responded to the area of Morningside Drive in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers could hear a verbal dispute from inside the residence. Officers made contact with a male who identified himself as “Rodricus Brown” and stated that he was there to visit his children. The complainant stated that he had her cell phone in his possession. E911 relayed to officers that Brown’s name was “not on file.” Brown stated that he did not have any identification on him and then told Officers that his name was “Octavius Hill,” which also came back as “not on file.” After further investigation, Octavious stated that his name was Octavius Brown, 28, of Athens. E911 confirmed the name and information returned with warrants out of Clarke County. Brown was arrested on the charges of giving a false name to law enforcement. Brown was also issued a criminal trespassing warning for the residence of 539 Morningside Drive. Brown awaited extradition to Clarke County.
On Saturday, June 8, while patrolling the area of South Main Street, officers observed a vehicle fail to make a complete stop at a traffic control device. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and the driver was identified as Abigail Louise Hunt, 31, of Augusta. E911 confirmed that Hunt’s license and tag were suspended, and the vehicle had no valid insurance. Hunt was informed that the vehicle must be towed per department policy. Hunt became upset, refused to sign her citations, and attempted to drive off. Hunt was arrested and transported to the Morgan County LEC. During the intake, Hunt was found to be in possession of ecstasy and drug-related objects. Hunt was booked on the charges of failure to stop at a stop sign, suspended registration, no insurance, driving while license suspended, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of a controlled substance.
For the week of 2-8, the Greensboro Police Department responded to two accidents, and 107 citations were issued.
