Warrants were issued for the arrest of Jeffery Mark Mitchem, 38, of Madison on charges of battery under the family violence statute, cruelty to children, obstruction of persons making an emergency call, and criminal trespass on Feb. 1. He was arrested the next day on after he was found hiding in an attic.
