    Lake Oconee Humane Society, formerly known as the Oconee Regional Humane Society, held its third annual “Wine, Wags and Whiskers” and 25th-anniversary celebration fundraising event Friday night at Oconee Brewery in downtown Greensboro.

    With Dr. Tyler Franks of Franks Chiropractic Life Center as master of ceremonies, music by Eric Dodd and Matt VanZant, delicious cuisine by Chef Burch of The Burch, complimentary wine generously provided by Rescue Dog Wine, special LOHS beer by the Oconee Brewing Company and a great selection of silent and live auction items, this event was a wonderful success with proceeds supporting furry friends.
