Madison’s VFW Post 2557 recently held its annual Christmas dinner to reflect on its accomplishments and to foster fellowship among members and their families.

In 2026, Post 2557 earned All-American and All-State awards and is among the top posts in District 4 thanks to a dedicated group of members.

During the dinner, Commander Vince Skidmore presented awards to past Commander Neal Fitzgerald, Jr., Vice Commander Tom Johnson, and members Cam Cunningham and York Griscom for outstanding service.

Door prizes are given out each year and have been a tradition for over 20 years. Post members thanked all members, local merchants who donated door prizes, and Pat Reams for allowing them to meet at the Chophouse and for providing the meal.
