Ribbon cutting held for Lake Country Medical Concierge

GREENE COUNTY

The Greene County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 24, celebrating the grand opening of Dr.'s newest office.

Nicolas Chronos and Lake Country Medical Concierge. Located at 1011 Parkside Commons, Suite 101, in Greensboro — close to Hatfield Homes and Hankinson Wealth Advisors — this marks the practice’s second location, furthering its mission to provide personalized, patient-centered healthcare through concierge medicine.

The Greensboro office offers a wide range of specialized services, including comprehensive physical exams, cardiac and vascular risk assessments, preventive cardiology, stroke prevention, and evaluations for cognitive function and memory loss. This expansion reflects the growing demand for personalized healthcare that emphasizes accessibility, extended consultation times, and meaningful doctor-patient relationships.

“Today’s patients expect a higher level of personalization,” Chronos said during the ceremony. “They want to be partners in their care, engaged in shared decision-making rather than being told what to do. Concierge medicine is designed for individuals who want to take an active role in their health and value one-on-one care with a physician they know and trust. I believe strong relationships are the cornerstone of exceptional healthcare.”

Chronos is an internationally recognized cardiologist, researcher, and innovator with over three decades of experience in the field of medicine. He trained at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Institute in London before completing fellowships at Emory University in Atlanta.

Throughout his career, Chronos has played a leading role in advancing cardiovascular medicine, particularly in the areas of interventional cardiology and regenerative therapies. His commitment to personalized, preventative care and groundbreaking research continues to shape the future of modern medicine in Georgia and beyond.

Joining Chronos for the event was Grace Greenwald, founder of Refine Aesthetics & Wellness, located in the same building. Greenwald is a board-certified registered nurse with advanced training in aesthetic medicine. With years of hands-on experience in clinical aesthetics, she specializes in injectable treatments, medical-grade skincare, and physician-directed weight loss programs.

Greenwald is known for her gentle approach, artistic eye, and passion for helping clients look and feel their best through customized, results-driven care.

She said she is proud to offer her services to the Lake Oconee community, with exclusive discounts available to members of Lake Country Medical Concierge.

The ribbon cutting was well-attended by fellow Chamber members, including representatives from Abridge Aging Life Care Management, Canvas CFO, Brock Company Creative, and the Greene County Food Pantry, who gathered to show their support for Lake Country Medical Concierge.
