Downtown Greensboro’s first Moonlight on Main concert of the summer brought the community together for a night full of music, dancing, shopping, and family fun in the heart of downtown Greensboro.
Families, friends, and visitors filled the streets to enjoy live music, food vendors, face painting for children, and a vibrant atmosphere.
“We were thrilled to see so many people come out and enjoy the evening together,” said Main Street Event Coordinator Brittney Burden. “Events like Moonlight on Main showcase the energy and excitement happening in downtown Greensboro and support our local businesses and restaurants.”
Downtown Greensboro now looks ahead to an exciting lineup of upcoming summer events. The next Moonlight on Main concert will take place outside in front of Festival Hall on June 19 at 7 p.m., featuring the Nu South Players, followed by fireworks at 9:30, and again on July 17 at 7 p.m., featuring the Swinging Medallions. Families can also enjoy Free Movie Day on June 1 at 2 p.m. at Festival Hall, featuring The Goofy Movie.
In addition, the Homegrown Farmers Market kicks off May 30 from 8 a.m. until noon and will continue on the second and fourth Saturdays from June through September in downtown Greensboro.
All Moonlight on Main events are free to attend and will feature live music, food vendors, shopping, and face painting for children. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, stroll downtown, enjoy dinner at local restaurants, and experience the welcoming atmosphere of Lake Oconee’s hometown.
