    The Burch Boathouse held an event on June 28 featuring several vendors alongside the Lake Oconee Humane Society.

    Adoptable pups were on hand along with a fundraising game that gave some the ultimate bragging rights. By sinking a shot on a custom-built cornhole board, participants won a chance to choose a name for a future LOHS cat or dog. 

    The event started at noon and ended at 5 p.m. with a large crowd visiting by car and boat, enjoying food, and having fun.
