Lake Country Chorus presents ‘Let It Snow’

Regardless of what weather professionals may forecast, for one magical evening this December, Lake Country Chorus (LCC) promises to bring a winter wonderland to Greensboro.

For last year’s sold-out Christmas performance, LCC also brought not only Santa Claus but the Grinch to its audience, but this year, Jack Frost will get the spotlight. But only in a good way!

No need to worry about snowstorms, snowdrifts, and near-zero visibility, though. Instead, LCC’s combination of religious and secular musical selections will create visions of delicate snowflakes, jolly snowmen, and daintily frosted windowpanes.

Under the direction of Donna Valvo and accompanied by professional musicians, the 50-plusmember Lake Country Chorus will perform its wintery Christmas show at the First United Methodist Church (4741 Carey Station Rd.) as a wonderful way to usher in the holiday season.

So, break out those winter hats and mittens and come join LCC at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14. Tickets are $25 each and available through any chorus member and at the Bank South branch across from Publix.
