First Presbyterian scores big on Souper Bowl Sunday

    Despite two snowstorms and one ice storm — all on Sundays in January and February — the First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro was still able to gather and donate hundreds of cans of food for the Greene County Food Pantry.

    The church leader for this effort, Carla Pinkney, said, “The weather made it tough this year, but we managed to finish strong.”
