Harbor Club’s annual Easter Egg Hunt kicked off Saturday morning with large crowds of children, parents, grandparents, and friends in attendance.
Eggs were scattered for each age group, and once the whistle blew, the hunt was on as children took to the field with baskets in which to place as many eggs as they could get.
Pegz Fazio, owner and operator of Phantom Face Paint, and her partner, Phil Alexander, were on hand to paint the children’s faces.
At the same time, a giant inflatable slide and obstacle course kept the kids jumping and sliding, and freshly popped popcorn, snow cones, cupcakes, and cookies fed the hungry.
The Easter Bunny was also in attendance, allowing children and families to take photos with him while surrounded by balloons.
Organizers Kathy Weyer, Sherry Pesses, Irene Caulfield, and Lisa Stevens were kept busy throughout the event and said they were thrilled with the number of people who participated.
The Easter Egg hunt was summed up by a parent who remarked: “A great time, perfect weather, wonderful event, and super fun for the kids. We can’t wait for next year.”
